LIWDG Meetings Are Back!Next LIWDG meeting: May 17th.Another World Wide Web Wednesday! April, 19 2006Walter Sargent of Zerojack showed us his latest project which we discussed and critiqued: www.RoseCrossing.com I was going to debut a redesign of a site I had built last year. I had been working on it for about 2 weeks but unfortunately it was not ready. Look for it in our May meeting, Everyone better come to see it. For now you can check out it's old version at www.FloodTheclub.com A large portion of our gathering was a discussion headed up by our meeting host, Kenn Schroder ( www.K3nn.com ) about what we wanted to get out of our meetings and to delegate responsibilities to members to become "staff" and assist with the guild. One of the duties I placed upon myself was "Meeting-host assistant/town crier" To help keep the guild flowing and produce these AWESOME recaps of our meetings like the one you're reading right now! Tony Halpin of See Spot Jump Studios ( www.SeeSpotJump.com ) will be doing some research into our idea of having a full CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) site where once the structure is developed, we can all participate in creating a design for it all with css. If you're interested in participating in the group at our meetings, you'll be credited up on the www.LIWDG.org web site. We are looking for volunteers for our next meetings, Do you want to bring food? Get us a sponsor? Find us a speaker to discuss Web Development/Design topics? (ie. Macromedia, Adobe, or Some flash / html expert ) Let us know. I'm looking forward to the next meeting and I hope you are too! -Line -- |
