LIWDG Membership

The LIWDG is a free guild. Our meetings and discussion list are always free. You can become a member by putting in your blood, sweat and tears. You cannot directly pay for membership.

What are the benefits of membership?

  • You can reference your membership to build your image as someone who supports the LIWDG
  • You get listed on the LIWDG.org web site based on your participation
  • You get a link to your web site for visibility
  • If you are an officer, you also get listed on the officer’s page and get more detailed descriptions with your listing. You also can reference your officer-ship.

To become a member you must contribute to the guild.
There a variety of ways to do this:

  1. These are the main positions designed to keep the guild running — for example: meeting host, membership manager and web master.
  2. Each officer can have as many assistants as he or she likes to fulfill the position.
  3. These are non-specific roles that support the guild — for example: giving a talk or presentation, donating supplies and promoting the guild. If you got a cool idea for contributing, we will highly consider it.
